2023 Oakland Owners Tour of Virginia
(as planned by Allen Richards and Wayne Koffel)
An overview:
Every attempt was made to design a tour that was both informative, inexpensive, with easy- to- follow directions. We tried to pack as many things as we could into three days. The hotel was chosen based on ability to accommodate trailers, close proximity to our list of destinations, and realistic prices for our club members. There is no registration fee for any one choosing to join us on tour. The tour starts Thursday April 27, 2023 and is over Saturday April 29, 2023.
Our hotel is The Double Tree Hotel at 111 Hospitality Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630 540-631-3050. This is a Hilton Hotel. Our cost is $129 per night plus taxes. Wayne worked a deal with management to provide every guest with a $20 breakfast voucher per day at their restaurant, Houlihan’s. Prospective attendees are asked to call the hotel and reserve a room by informing the hotel you are with the Oakland Owners Club. Please contact Wayne if you have any questions at 610-217-5862.

The following list of destinations was chosen based on distance to hotel and approximate driving distance of about 50 to 70 miles per day. Most of our destinations are in the valley as we tried to keep hills to a minimum. There will be more information on this website within the next month.
